The acquisition is expected to strengthen Oxyzo’s presence in debt capital markets while expanding its offerings for retail investors and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs). According to the company, the transaction will help Oxyzo build a stronger investment ecosystem focused on bonds, fixed income products and alternative credit opportunities. Acquisition Strengthens Oxyzo’s Debt Market Presence Oxyzo, a technology-driven non-banking financial company focused on SME financing, had assets under management (AuM) of approximately ₹10,700 crore as of March 2026. Earlier this year, the company also launched its private credit investment platform as part of its broader expansion into asset management and structured credit solutions. Speaking on the acquisition, Anuj Sharma said the integration of GoldenPi would significantly strengthen Oxyzo’s fixed income capabilities and help capture a larger share of India’s rapidly expanding debt investment market. Industry analysts believe the acquisition aligns with rising investor interest in fixed-income products amid increasing awareness around diversified investment portfolios and alternative yield-generating assets. The Bengaluru-based company allows retail investors to invest in listed corporate bonds, government securities, fixed deposits and non-convertible debentures (NCDs). GoldenPi claims to have built a user base of more than 16 lakh investors who have cumulatively invested over ₹6,000 crore through the platform. The company also stated that no defaults have been recorded on investments facilitated through its platform till date. Over the years, GoldenPi received backing from investors including Rainmatter Capital and Utpal Sheth. Oxyzo Expands Beyond SME Lending The acquisition comes as Oxyzo continues diversifying beyond traditional SME financing into broader credit and investment management businesses. In March, the company launched Oxyzo Credit Fund I (OCF-I), a performing credit fund under its alternative investment platform. Oxyzo also entered the fund management business through its subsidiary Oxyzo Investment Manager Private Limited. Financially, the company reported strong growth in FY25, with operating revenue rising to ₹1,207 crore from ₹903 crore in FY24. Profit after tax also increased to ₹340 crore compared to ₹291 crore in the previous fiscal year. The GoldenPi acquisition signals Oxyzo’s growing ambition to become a larger player in India’s evolving retail debt investment and private credit ecosystem.
