E3 Electric.AI Launches AI-Powered E3 TRION Electric Scooter

Mobility Startup Introduces Intelligent E-Scooter with Over 100 AI Features, Up to 165 Km Range

Bengaluru-based mobility startup E3 Electric.AI has launched its flagship intelligent electric scooter, E3 TRION, marking its entry into India’s fast growing premium electric two-wheeler segment. The company says the AI-powered scooter has been built to create a new category of smart mobility by combining predictive intelligence, connected technology, and practical design for everyday riders.

The launch comes shortly after the startup raised Rs 100 crore (approximately $10.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by BluVenture Holdings, strengthening its plans to expand its intelligent mobility platform.

Built Around AI and Predictive Intelligence

According to the company, the E3 TRION combines human-centric design, modular architecture, and AI-powered software that continuously learns from vehicle usage to improve both riding performance and ownership experience.

The scooter has been designed to address several pain points associated with electric vehicles, including range anxiety, vehicle safety, service experience, and maintenance costs.

Complementing the software platform is a high-efficiency electric powertrain engineered to deliver an optimal balance between performance and battery range.

Three Variants with Different Use Cases

E3 Electric.AI is offering the scooter in multiple variants tailored to different customer needs.

The E3 TRION C1 features a removable battery, allowing users to conveniently charge it at home or work.

The C1x variant is equipped with a 3 kWh battery and delivers an IDC-certified range of 165 kilometres on a single charge.

Meanwhile, the C2 variant focuses on performance, offering a top speed of 82 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in just 6 seconds in Sport mode. In addition to Sport mode, the scooter also offers Eco and Power riding modes.

Over 100 Intelligent Features

At the heart of the E3 TRION is the company’s proprietary E3 COMMANDCENTER, powered by its E3 Intelligent IoT CORE and cloud intelligence platform.

The system continuously monitors vehicle performance, predicts potential faults before they occur, enables proactive servicing, and delivers software updates throughout the scooter’s lifecycle.

According to the company, the platform includes more than 100 intelligent features, including:

  • AI HEALTHSCAN for 10-second vehicle diagnostics
  • Predictive maintenance reports through E3 Foresight
  • Smart trip planner with charger locator
  • Connected navigation and live vehicle analytics
  • Remote battery monitoring and vehicle controls
  • Built-in dashcam
  • SOS emergency assistance
  • Geo-fencing and security features

These capabilities are aimed at improving vehicle reliability while reducing unexpected breakdowns.

Battery, Design and Pricing

The E3 TRION is powered by both a 2.3 kWh portable VOLTPORT battery and a 3 kWh fixed battery, both using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry.

The scooter is available in six colour options.

Pricing starts at Rs 1,09,999 for the E3 TRION C1x, while the higher-performance E3 TRION C2 is priced at Rs 1,19,999.

Targeting the Next Phase of EV Adoption

Speaking about the launch, Sanjeev P., Founder and CEO of E3 Electric.AI, said the E3 TRION has been designed specifically for Indian families, where reliability, convenience, and peace of mind remain key considerations for daily commuting.

Founded in 2024 by P. Sanjeev, E3 Electric.AI is a deep-tech mobility company focused on developing AI-native electric scooters built on modular architecture with connected software at their core.

Backed by fresh funding and its latest product launch, the startup aims to differentiate itself in India’s competitive EV market through intelligent software, predictive maintenance, and an enhanced ownership experience rather than hardware alone.
