Quick Home Services Startup Improves Scale and Unit Economics
Quick home services startup Snabbit has crossed 115,000 fulfilled jobs in a single day, marking another milestone in its rapid expansion. Alongside its growing order volume, the company also reported significant improvements in unit economics during the first quarter of FY27, reflecting its focus on building a sustainable business.
According to the company, Snabbit completed around 4 million jobs in its core househelp category during Q1 FY27. Its consolidated Net Order Value (NOV), after customer discounts, crossed ₹130, while burn per job declined by more than ₹100 quarter-on-quarter to below ₹250.
From 400 Daily Jobs to 115,000 in Under Two Years
Snabbit said it has scaled from approximately 400 daily jobs to more than 115,000 fulfilled jobs per day in less than two years.
Earlier this year, the company crossed 50,000 daily jobs and surpassed one million monthly jobs, highlighting the rapid adoption of its on-demand home services platform.
Expansion Across 10 Cities
The startup currently operates across 10 cities, including:
- Mumbai
- Delhi
- Thane
- Navi Mumbai
- Gurgaon
- Ghaziabad
- Noida
- Faridabad
- Pune
- Hyderabad
According to the company, Snabbit now covers more than 150 micromarkets and continues to focus on increasing service density within existing neighbourhoods to improve fulfilment efficiency, customer retention, and operational performance.
New Categories Gain Early Traction
Beyond its core househelp business, Snabbit said it is witnessing encouraging adoption in newer categories, including:
- Home Cooks
- Salon at Home
Founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal said several mature micromarkets are now completing more than 2,500 jobs per day, while multiple residential communities generate over 500 daily jobs.
He added that the company expects its consolidated Net Order Value (NOV) to improve by another 15–20% over the coming months.
Building a Sustainable Marketplace
According to Snabbit, the business now facilitates more than 100,000 earning opportunities every day for its network of over 25,000 service professionals (“Experts”). The company has also enabled eShram registration for eligible workers on its platform.
Snabbit further emphasized that its growth has not been driven primarily by aggressive discounting, noting that its consolidated NOV exceeded ₹130 even after accounting for customer discounts.
Competition Intensifies in Quick Home Services
The announcement comes a few months after Snabbit raised $56 million in a Series D funding round, taking its total capital raised to $112 million.
Competition in India’s instant home services market is also accelerating.
Recently, rival Urban Company’s InstaHelp crossed 100,000 delivered orders in a single day, while a recent Moneycontrol report estimated that:
- Urban Company’s InstaHelp: ~1.9 million July orders
- Snabbit: ~1.85 million July orders
- Pronto: Over 1.25 million bookings
As players continue to expand geographically and improve operational efficiency, the battle in India’s quick home services segment is increasingly shifting from rapid customer acquisition to sustainable unit economics and profitable growth.
